The Swedish cleantech company Ozoreon, which develops sustainable solutions for disinfection and water purification, announces that Pär Svärdson, founder of Apotea and Adlibris, has become an investor in the company. The capital injection will be used to accelerate Ozoreon’s commercial scale-up and international expansion.
Based in Västervik, Sweden, Ozoreon develops and commercializes energy-efficient and robust systems for purification of water, air, and surfaces using patented ozone technology. The company’s solutions are already being successfully used in industrial applications to reduce microbial growth and improve process stability, resulting in lower costs and reduced resource consumption.

After establishing strong reference customers within Swedish industry over the past few years, Ozoreon is now entering a phase fully focused on commercial scaling. The investment will primarily be used to expand the company’s existing solutions, finance continued technical development, and support international growth.

A prominent example is the product RIVVER – a fully self-sufficient system for water purification, disinfection, and power supply, specifically designed for field use and resource-limited environments.
